Based in Las Vegas and serving clients since 2005, OGI Environmental provides practical environmental consulting throughout Nevada, along with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Property Condition Assessments nationwide.
OGI is owned and led by Robert (Rob) Thompson, a geologist and environmental consultant with approximately 37 years of experience. We help property buyers, owners and lenders understand property conditions, evaluate concerns and plan their next steps.
Our Nevada services include environmental due diligence, contaminant investigations, remediation support and regulatory coordination. We tailor the proposed scope to the property, the intended use of the assessment and the client’s requirements.
We coordinate drilling, laboratory analysis and other specialized services with independent subcontractors as needed. We focus on clear communication, practical recommendations and a scope, fee and anticipated schedule agreed upon before work begins.

Meet the Owner
Robert (Rob) Thompson
P.G., C.E.M.
Robert (Rob) Thompson is the sole owner of OGI Environmental and an environmental professional with approximately 37 years of experience in environmental consulting, project management and technical support. He is a Professional Geologist and a Nevada Certified Environmental Manager.
Rob’s experience includes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, soil and groundwater investigations, hydrogeologic evaluations and groundwater control projects. He provides technical review and support, prepares site investigation reports and dewatering plans, and prepares and implements remedial action plans for properties affected by petroleum hydrocarbons and other hazardous substances.
His work includes technical support for national due diligence portfolios and dewatering consultation for major Las Vegas resort projects. He also provides drilling and sampling oversight, regulatory coordination and remedial construction oversight. Rob helps property buyers, owners and lenders understand findings and evaluate practical next steps.
